NIICE Program

Neighborhood Improvement Initiative for Community Effectiveness

The NIICE Program, operated through the Zora Community Connections Service Center (CCSC), is a comprehensive training program designed for Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) participants. The program equips individuals, families, and communities with vital tools and resources for lasting success.

The program's vision is a people-centered, holistic approach that creates opportunities for individuals to Live, Work, and Thrive — focusing on people living well and working towards self-reliance in communities that thrive.

Develop essential life skills for personal and professional growth.

Employment Readiness

Resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies.

Educational Advancement

GED preparation, college readiness, and continuing education.

Nutrition & Wellness

Healthy eating, meal planning, and wellness workshops.

Community engagement, voting, and civic participation.

Family Strengthening

Parenting skills, family communication, and relationship building.

Youth & Adult Programs

NIICE offers both Youth and Adult program tracks. The Youth Program focuses on leadership development, academic success, and career exploration for young residents ages 14-17. The Adult Program provides comprehensive life skills training, employment readiness, and community engagement opportunities for participants ages 18 and older.
